Frozen II was beck for seconds over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, delivering a bountiful $85.3M in its second weekend (down just 34.6%)—and a cool $100M including the Thursday holiday. That puts the sequel smash at $287.6M through its first 10 days—pacing FAR ahead of the 2013 original, which had $134.3M after its first two weekends of wide release.
Despite the Frozen feast, Knives Out was able to carve out a solid $27M opening in second place. Including its early week numbers, the Rian Johnson whodunit has earned $41.7M through five days.
Slipping into third place in its third weekend, Ford v. Ferrari kept the pedal to the mettle (down just 16%)with $13.2M for a new overall total of $81M.
Also holding incredibly well, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood was down just 11% in fourth place with $11.8M for a new 10-day take of $34.3.
Opening in fifth place, Queen & Slim scored $11.7M from just 1,690 locations—giving it $15.8M including its Wednesday and Thursday numbers.
